About Aohong Chemical Japan
Aohong Chemical Japan (AHCJ) was established in 2014 as part of the Aohong Group, a leading manufacturer and distributor of refrigerant products across China and the broader Asian region.
In addition to supplying virgin refrigerants, AHCJ manufactures high-quality reclaimed refrigerants using advanced distillation and reclamation technologies. We are recognized as a leader in the reclaimed refrigerant industry in Japan and throughout Asia.
In response to global environmental initiatives, we also supply low-GWP refrigerants, including HFOs, and are expanding our portfolio of natural refrigerants such as CO₂ and R290. These Low GWP refrigerant and non-fluorinated solutions support international environmental frameworks and policies, including the Montreal Protocol and the Kigali Amendment.
Through close collaboration with refrigerant and fluid manufacturers across Asia, We are developing non-PFAS refrigerants and thermal fluids to address current and future regulatory concerns.
AHCJ also provides comprehensive OEM services, including refrigerant charging, repackaging, and blending.
Aohong Group
Founded in 2000 by Hu Aihua, Aohong Group began as a small refrigerant distributor in Shanghai and has since grown into one of China’s leading refrigerant filling and blending companies.
With production facilities in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Taicang, and Thailand, the Group provides refrigerant filling, blending, recovery, and recycling services to major home appliance and automotive manufacturers. The Taicang plant, opened in 2018, features advanced automated systems, large-scale storage, and in-house analytical laboratories to ensure quality and operational efficiency.
Aohong obtained China’s ODS recovery permit in 2013 and now focuses on the recovery and reuse of HCFCs and HFCs, with annual recovery volumes exceeding 1,000 tons. A new flagship facility in Zibo, Shandong, is under construction and scheduled to commence operations in 2026.
