About AOHONG
Shanghai Aohong Chemical Co., Ltd. was founded in 2000 by Hu Aihua, current president of the Aohong Group, as a distributor and distributor of refrigerant gases. Initially, it was a small refrigerant gas distributor, with Hu personally delivering the products. In 2002, the company began construction of a filling and blending plant in Shanghai's Jiading District. Since then, the company has since invested in new plants in Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Thailand. Today, it is one of China's leading filling and blending companies, providing refrigerant recovery and recycling services to domestic home appliance and automobile manufacturers.
The Taicang Plant, its mother factory, opened in March 2018. The approximately 30,000-square-meter site houses 16 storage tanks, a flammable gas area, a container inspection facility, a container drying warehouse, an analytical lab, and accommodation facilities. The plant actively welcomes visitors from both within and outside of China.
In addition, we monitor the opening and closing of each valve, filling volume, storage weight, etc. from a central control room, and are committed to stabilizing quality and reducing labor through measures such as the introduction of fully automated filling lines.
Shanghai Aohong Chemical obtained China's domestic ODS (ozone depleting substances) recovery permit at its Tianjin plant in 2013, and is focusing on the recovery and reuse of HCFCs and HFCs. In 2019, the total amount of various refrigerants recovered reached more than 1,000 tons per year.
A new flagship plant is currently under construction in Zibo, Shandong, which is expected to begin operations in 2026.
